Product Review: Dead Sea Spa Magik Mud Mask

This mud mask by Dead Sea Spa Magik promises to deep cleanse normal/oily skin; remove impurities; refine and soften skin texture and give skin a fresh, healthy glow. It boasts a blend of mud, salt and mineral extracts from the depths of the Dead Sea which claim to deeply hydrate, repair and soothe the body and mind. This product is also skin-friendly, it has an allergen-free fragrance, no parabens and it contains harmonised water (special de-ionised water with pure Dead Sea minerals).
Directions: Apply to face and neck (avoiding eye area). Leave for 1-5 minutes. Remove with a wet natural sponge.
I bought this product in the local pharmacy for €8.99 for a 75ml tube, which is good value for a mud mask with organic ingredients. I removed all make up before applying the mask. The mask has a very faint fragrance which was nice and refreshing. I relaxed in the bath whilst the mask was on, there was a faint tingling feeling after I applied it. I found the mask felt very light and refreshing on my face in comparison to other mud masks. As soon as I removed the mask my skin felt smooth, clean and it didn't feel dried out as I sometimes notice after other face masks. The soft, supple feeling lasted all night. Overall I was very happy with the product and I will definitely use it again; the only complaint I have is that because the mask is black, in parts where it had dried and hardened, I found it difficult to remove but this may be because I didn't have a natural sponge at hand to remove it so I just used a face cloth.
